The supposed to be the Philippine representative to the upcoming Miss World Beauty Pageant to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 14, Bb. Pilipinas-World 2008 Janina San Miguel has decided to quit, because of the sudden death of her grandfather.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) issued an official statement Monday night as follows:
“The untimely demise of her grandfather, among other personal reasons, has caused her undue stress, thus hindering her from fulfilling her duties for the said title… BPCI wishes to express its gratitude to Ms. San Miguel for this act of graciousness and concern for the country. They also wish her well in her future endeavors.”
The Binibining Pilipinas 2008 first runner-up Danielle Castaño will take over Janina’s duties as the country’s representative to the Miss World 2008, as per the rules and regulations of the BPCI.

I was checking my email accounts and one of them was my gmail account. I often open such email address, coz i don’t have much contacts there. Upon launching my account, I found 3 new emails in my inbox. One of the email there came from an email address, which I don’t even know. It has the subject: Rumor: Laarni Lozada and Jun Lozada di lang magkaapelyido, they are common. I did check it and there is a link to read full story. However, when I clicked the link, it redirects me to a page where only comments are shown. The story wasn’t in the page itself.

It’s still 1:00 pm and I only slept for about 5 hours. Still have work by 10:00 pm, but then I can no longer sleep. I was just lying on bed, till I decided to watch a movie instead, thinking that it might made me feel sleepy. While I was looking on the DVDs, I didn’t expect I would found “Message in a Bottle“. (i knew it’s quiet sometime since the movie was released). But, I just loved a movie based on Nicholas Sparks‘ novel. I remember, an old friend of mine, told me about this story. And she really said that it’s nice. I knew Nicholas Sparks always has a great novel. The movie was indeed, interesting. Love has lost, but then found. It touches me somehow, it involves Drama and Romance. 5 stars to the movie and to the novel (i read half of it). (more…
First, I would like to thank the people who are behind the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards. Despite the fact that I wasn’t there to witness the event as much as I want to, but I was still thankful for the live streaming they have set up. I mean it, I enjoyed watching from the moment they had setted up the venue, till the event had started. Bad enough, for it suddenly went offline. Huhuh.. So I have to wait for the results instead with too much excitement
