Team04 (RELOADED) at Community Service

“It’s really a different kind of feeling as I would say, if you could make someone happy even doing small things to them.”
As planned, last Saturday our team went at the Sisters of Servants of Mary (House for the Elderly) at Mohon, Talisay, Cebu. Though not all were there for some reasons, but atleast we’re almost complete. Let’s start on how the community outreach was realized. Well, it was Gale’s brilliant idea, she proposed that we (Team Reloaded) would go for a community outreach at the home of the aged since Christmas is near. And so the team agreed.
Bacs, Frank, Jay2, Shae, Pyudi, Warrs, Fher contributed Php 150.00 each and the rest (Mayang, Marvin, Harvey, Josh, Gale, Chip, Tomas, Neil and yours truly) contributed Php. 100.00 each. All in all we raised up to 1950 rounded off to 2K. Well, we thought it would be enough for 25 grannys in the place and yes it was! We brought tuna sandwiches (courtesy of Bacs), Bam-e (courtesy of Tomas) and the goods (basic necessity like tootbrush, hand towels, etc.)
The team arrived at the destination around 2pm. Upon reaching the place, I feel uncomfortable, since I’m not used to. I mean it, I don’t want to go upstairs with the team, but since I was there already, then I just go with the flow. I was able to saw different grannies there with different attitudes. Some of them were very fluent in speaking English, some were just quiet, and some are observing, some were friendly giving everyone a smile, and some were funny as well.
