How to apply for a DOST scholarship? Can we apply for it even if the course I want is accountancy?

@charlotte yu: you may go to your nearest DOST office. As an ex-DOST scholar, all I know is that, they only offer science and technology course. I think accountancy is not one of the option. But, you can confirm it to your nearest DOST RO office..

Hi michael, i don’t think they do have application form available for downloads online.. much better kung punta ka nalang sa pinaka malapit na dost office sa place nyo, or else tanong mo try sa head nyo sa school… ^_^

Pwede po ba akong kumuha ng scholarship kahit nkapag-aral na ko dati?..i mean,nka-one year na kasi ako sa dati kong school (college) and undergrad ako..kung magaaral ako ulit pero sa ibang school na,pwede pa ba kong kumuha ng scholarship?..thanks in advance..ü

uhmm not so sure though, but as far as I know, pwede pa mg-take ng DOST scholarship as long as d kapa nka pg take.better yet visit to the nearest DOST office..

good question… you can actually try filling up the form and complete the requirements and submit it… my fellow dost scholar before wasn’t part of the top 10.. it’s a matter of trying…

I am a TANYANKEE scholar at dlsu manila for master of educ major in chem, a non thesis course, I want to pursue Master in Chemistry which has subjects not taken in Mater in Educ major in Chem. I am interested of applying for scholarship to continue with a thesis course. Please help my quiry.

I remember, during our time, we got notified late in April, but most probably early March or late March next year the result should come

ask ko lang po kung magkano ang stpend ng mga DOST scholars? applicable po ba kahit sa private school ung DOST scholarship? paano po ba natatanggal ung scholarship sa DOST? parang ndi ko po kasi nabasa sa R.A 7687. may quota po bang sinusunod sa pagkuha ng scholars? ilang trials po pwede kumuha ng entrance exam? salamat po..

lemme try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge, based on my experience during our time..
We had 2,200 monthly allowance + 1,500 for books per sem, 4000 for tuition per sem… Pero after 2 years, tumaas yan ng I guess 3,500/month na allowance, pero d ko na try un, I stopped kasi..
DOST scholarship is applicable sa private schools.
natatanggal ang scholarship if and only if di mo ma meet ang grade na n require.
About the quota, I guess they’re basing on the average score, not 100% sure though..
Trial exams? I guess am not sure with this…
