Francis Magalona - who is known as king of Pinoy Rap, passes away this afternoon at the age of 44. A heartbreaking news to everyone who can be consider his fans. Including myself.

MANILA, Philippines‚¬(UPDATE 4) Rapper-TV host Francis Magalona died of leukemia Friday at the Medical City in Mandaluyong, his co-hosts at the GMA Network’s noontime show ¬“Eat Bulaga‚¬said. He was 44.

Magalona succumbed to severe sepsis as a complication of leukemia and passed away at 12 noon, said Philippine Daily Inquirer sources who were not authorized to talk to media.

The acclaimed rapper-musician was rushed to the Medical City on Thursday night, Inquirer sources said. He was –intubated” upon admission and placed in the Intensive Care Unit at 3 a.m. Friday.

He was described as ¬toxic‚¬ during the early hours of Friday, the Inquirer sources said.

A Tribute:

Who would ever forget the songs of those days that I used to sing loudly? Which are still nice to play this days. One of the best songs that I always love to hear is his “Kaleidoscope World” – Loved the lyrics, the tune, the rhythm and the flow of this song. It’s really cool.
