“I WAS THERE! iBlog 5“

Departure and Arrival:

I left Mactan Cebu International Airport, Saturday 04.45AM and arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport 06:00AM. I rode a shuttle bus (Php 20.00) to EDSA Rotonda for MRT bound to Quezon Avenue and rode a Jeepney to UP Diliman Campus. There I saw Ms. Janette Toral and company preparing the venue and so on. I was the very first blogger who registered there (most punctual eh?) it’s still 7.30AM. I got some stuffs inside a brown envelop given by one of the person (i forgot to asked her name) there in the registration area, and got ID too.

Since it’s early yet, I had the chance to stroll UP Campus and then went back to the venue after almost an hour of walk, waiting for my fellow Cebu Bloggers. Around 8:30AM, Vanjohnn, Bryan and Kevin arrived. And the four of us went inside together.

The Acquaintance:

Inside were few of the famous bloggers I knew online. I recognized them through there blog(s) and was having some chitchats with them too. They really were able to recognized us since my fellows were wearing the “Blogger Ko Bai” shirt. They requested us to stand in front for a bit of introduction (i was ashamed though, but at least the four of us came there in front as one). That was fun! As they say “KAPALMUKS” is the keyword, and yet we did it! (woot). Moreover, later that day I also met my fellow Shout Out Lounge family Hannah and Jehzlau and we took family picture. ^_^. And a lot of bloggers who I just happen to met online were there also! It was indeed a pleasure meeting them there!

The Event:

It started with the Philippine National Anthem, and followed by an invocation? (if i am not wrong, am losing memory waaaaaaaa). And the Opening remarks officially opened the event. And the presentations of the different speakers. All in all it was fun! Really it was! I learned a lot, many to mention and never regret of coming at the event. I am looking forward of the next iblog summit!

    You Cebu guys really amaze me. I mean, you have to shell out cash just to go to Manila for iBlog. :) That is what I call commitment.
