My Nikon D3000 is back

Last December 27, 2009 my Nikon D3000 was having major problem – “No Power” . All of the sudden it’s not showing anything when I turned it on. December 28, I returned it to Pixel Pro, Parkmall where I bought it and yet they decided to pull out the item and shifted it to Manila for a repair. It took exactly 16 days before it came back to my hands. Will I was really worried about it, to the fact that Sinulog 2010 is fast approaching. It also took several calls/follow ups to Pixel Pro about the cam and it came to the point that I almost lost hope of joining everyone taking photos during the Grand Mardigras.
Issue: Mainboard damaged . Mainboard issue is a factory defect. They’re supposed to replace it with a new unit, but per Pixel Pro, if it falls with in 7days then they could.   Well, sadly, this is my Nikon d3000′s destiny. Can’t just deny the fact that it’s been dismantled. =( Anyhow, am still thankful that it came back before the Sinulog 2010 Grand Mardigras!
At the moment, am still checking some settings and trying to do some test shots. Hopefully, and I am really hoping that there are no after effects at all.
Pixel Pro and the after sales service:
So how would I rate their after sales service? This is based on my own experience. In a range of 1-10 as 10 is the highest, I would rate them as 6. Why? To be continued…. (am sleepy now)
