I don’t really know how to start this post (so typical, isn’t it?). Well, there’s a kind of felling that I just can’t explain. I think I’m still overwhelmed with last night’s Philippine Blog Awards.

Honestly, I didn’t expect that I would bring home with a bacon. What’s funny about it is that, I was busy talking with my fellow Cebu Bloggers, and when I heard my URL being announced infront of the crowd – I was really shocked, I was doubtful at first if I really heard my URL as beyond-the-norms.org, and yet I did. And with full excitement and overwhelming feelings, I walk slowly (feeling like a rockstar) to the stage and claimed my award.

Thank you so much “GLOBE and The Philippine Blog Awards (PBA) “for giving this award. It’s indeed an honor.

Yesterday, December 13, we, the cebu bloggers held our first ever christmas party at Mendoza’s residence, Jarden de Busay, Cebu. Courtesy of VanJohn, one of the active cebu bloggers society member. The accomodition really is so cool! The foods, cooked by vanjohn were so delicious! two thumbs up! Yummy indeed!

Moreover, I myself received an award as well. Needless to say, those awards are some kind of recognization of what I, we did!

But then again, I can’t go there and attend the event as much as I would like to. (sob) .

The celebration of the Mandaue Business Month was over. One of the main highlights of the one month event was the Cebu Blog Contest. And with the main objective: To let a hundred Cebu Blogs bloom. As a noob blogger, such contest interests me. And besides one of the mechanics is to create a new blog which will have a PageRank of 0 in Google, and 0 authority as according to Blog Authority, Technorati.

And with that contest wow-cebuph was born. I started blogging about our very own land: Cebu! It aims to promote Cebu to the world, with it’s hidden beauties.

After the conclusion of the Mandaue Business Month 2008 and in relation to Cebu Blog Contest, my blog won 2nd prize.

For those who support wow-cebuph blog, “thanks a lot”. Though the contest has ended, I will still continue promoting Cebu through my wow-cebuph blog.
