The Cebu Bloggers Society had a meet up last Saturday at Figaro-Ayala Terraces. And yes, there were new faces during the recent meet up.
The team talked about the concerns in the society as a whole. Among the concerns discussed were:
- - Approving newly registered CBS members. (details will follow)
- - Migration of Yahoo Groups to the official site on or before Dec. 31.
- -Spamming.
- -Events
- Defcon PH Bloggers conference with semprix (the founder) which was moved to Dec 14.
- Defcon Beer Talk soft launching of Defcon.
- Sinulog new media partnership. (details will follow)
- Christmas gathering (sort of a small party. Getting together with the rest of the Cebu Bloggers)
P.S: Subject for changes and will be updating this later. Moreover, I need the names and the blog(s) of the bloggers who attended the meet up, especially the new faces. (i only recognize few, my apology).

It was late in the evening when I checked my email and had lots of notifications and updates from Cebu Bloggers Society Yahoo groups. Though I was that sleepy, but since it’s weekend, and besides I hadn’t been able to check my emails quiet sometime, so I decided to read everything in my mailbox. I mean it, it was really tiring, reading about 300 messages. But what’s worth reading was the new email from X, sent to the CBS group. It was actually about a press briefing for ENOVLINK. With out any idea of what that organization was, my interest of going to the event was there. (more…

Samsung Philippines, celebrated the Samsung Fun Club Day yesterday from 10am to 8.30pm here at SM City-Entertainment Center-Cebu. After which it was followed by a concert with the band Parokya ni Edgar.
Prior to the concert, we-the Cebu Bloggers Society members, had some chitchats with Ms. Hazel. She also gave us freebies - the Samsung Fun Club jacket, and the Samsung Kit. By 6pm, we excused ourselved from the entertainment area to ate our dinner. We headed to CnT Lechon Restaurant, fronting SM City. Ms. Hazel treated us on behalf of Samsung Philippines. (that was really delicious..**Burps***). After dinner, we went back at the entertainment area, waited for some other bloggers. (more…
First, I would like to thank the people who are behind the 2008 Philippine Blog Awards. Despite the fact that I wasn’t there to witness the event as much as I want to, but I was still thankful for the live streaming they have set up. I mean it, I enjoyed watching from the moment they had setted up the venue, till the event had started. Bad enough, for it suddenly went offline. Huhuh.. So I have to wait for the results instead with too much excitement 
and was just checking updates via Plurk. (thanks to my plurkmates

SEASONS GREETINGS!
Yes ber is here! - the last 4 months of the year… what i might expect for this season? well, i don’t know yet, but maybe i should start thinking what I want this Christmas? This season really is one of my most favorite time of the year..i mean it.. i always love seeing the street, houses, trees and everything decorated with christmas lights, lanterns and some other stuffs.. evereversince i was a kid, i always dreaming of spending christmas somewhere in a snowland. and of course with my family… i wanna experience building a snowman… do some snow skating… and everything.. i wanna see a real and live christmas trees with snows on it.. (whaaaaa - i’m day dreaming… lol)
well i hope and pray that everything would be at it’s best this season!
Mandaue Chamber of Commerce launches the 1st MBM LAN PARTY today. The 24 hour event (Aug. 23 8am up until Aug. 24 8am) officially opened at exactly 10 a.m this morning. Ten persons per minute were allowed to enter the arena. But prior to that, since it was announced that the event will start at 8am, hundreds of gamers were waiting outside for about 2 hours. In fact, there was a minor raffle draw held, as an apology for it took a while for the event to start. The prizes were 5 LAN Party T-shirt and 5 HP ball pen.
Most of the people really believed that such date - August 08, 2008 abbreviated as [ 08.08.08 ] is a lucky day for everyone. In Chinese culture, 8 is an extremely lucky number. (i believed so, since my date of birth has 8 as well 03.08.87)
Moreover, one of the most common event on this day is the: BIG DATE - Wedding. Couple believed that it’s a lucky wedding date. In fact, churches in the country today and around the world are fully booked for weddings. Hotels and some other reception areas for weddings are fully booked as well.
Another significant event is the opening of Beijing 2008 Olympic Games also known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.
However, according to some feng sui experts (as what i have watched a while ago in TV Patrol ), 08.08.08 is not really a lucky date. An irony to what most people believed.
i was kinda busy for the past weeks, and got lazy updating my blog..
well, here it is, i could say that this would be my first post in the year of the rat - 2008… uhmm.. yeah how am i going to start this article… hmmmm….. lemme think….
okay lemme share to everybody how i celebrated the new year’s eve. . . december 31 my shift was 1.30pm till 10.30pm - new year’s eve was an hour an a half away, so i decided not to go home, but instead, just wait till 12 midnight to welcome the year with the smile and prayer… i was having fun watching the fireworks when the clock strikes at 12… that was really fun, though i wasn’t there with my family… but in my heart, they’re all here…. moreover, my teamate “khid” brought foods for us (mayang and me - since mayang wasn’t able to went home after the shift) . . .
uhmmm. . . what else . . . new year’s resolution? well, i want to save money or perhaps open savings account for my self (?) .. let’s just see…
oh yeah i hope and pray that everything will be fine (family,love life,relatives, friends, career,everything and also world peace *SMILE*) this year until forever….. im happy to welcome this year. i have with me my “family” , “myn”, “relatives” and “friends!”
